Winning or not-Care factor low
Looking glamorous -Care factor High.
Hahahaha thank you so much for your support.
Tomorrow night I will be competing in Area impromptu speech competition.
Since winning the Club Contest, I printed all the possible questions and practice 5 questions a day, 7 days a week for months. Because I know the Aussies who compete with me won’t do this. If I can’t beat native speaker on the language I can train to have better structure by diligent practice when an impromptu topic throwing at me.
Tomorrow I will also have a team of students sitting for ANZCA singing exams. We have been preparing so long ago that today in lessons some of us are playing drums and one is organizing outing with me for the holidays. No one is nervous.
We do what we can do. Tomorrow I know the kids are impossible to fail, even if they try.
As for me, I don’t have time to worry about my own competition. But I know I have done my best. There is nothing more I can do so whatever the outcome, I am always better than I was. And that is enough.
How we do modern singing exams these day. If I haven’t convinced you to drop out of the exam, that means I think you are going to rock tomorrow. I am very proud of you all.
Lets have some fun!
I will never imagine life will be like this for singing exam
1. No more LIVE accompanist is needed
2. Now no LIVE examiner is needed either
3. Ringlight is in
4. You do your exam facing “your phone”
5. High speed WiFi is compulsory
6. Every singer needs an iPhone
You still need to have the charisma, Technique, musicianship and good voice to pull it off. And the teacher yells STOP every 5 seconds of your singing.
Something just never changes.
