Gretel's beautiful singing

29/11/2020

Our Gretel! She hates it when I show people her singing but I reckon it’s amazing. The other two girls from Mosman High are absolutely fabulous too.

From Miss Asia Australia Beauty Pageant to Acting and Modelling-Natasha Cheng

Season 2 Ep 39 From Miss Asia Australia Beauty Pageant to Acting and Modelling-
Natasha Cheng (Darling what did you say podcast)

Natasha was my student 12 years ago. If having two degrees of graphic design and performing arts degrees is not interesting for you, you should hear about her story of competing in 2014 Miss Asia Australia beauty pageant and the path of perusing an acting/modelling career.

She is also generously giving tips for people who want to go into this direction. “Just put yourself out there and go for it!”

Sites to check out for people who want to pursue acting or modelling:

https://www.starnow.com.au/

Fb groups for acting and modelling.
She was with Stardom Agency and now I’m with Middleman Agency. I have also been with extras agencies which are great too such as:
MCTV
iSpry
Voom

Dont know where to go while waiting for kids? Look here!====

29/11/2020

All my Saturday and Sunday kids are traveling to me from north shore and eastern suburbs. Many parents wait in the car for one hour and don’t know where to hang/do/get coffee (I don’t mind parents to come in at all but kids don’t like it) so being a Mosman veteran I decide to make some videos to show you what you can do within one hour. Seriously you will love it. Mosman is the best. (Ps: don’t go to Balmoral beach on the weekend you won’t make it back to pick up the kids...)

Lucy 2010 VS 2020

29/11/2020

Lucy 2010 VS 2020 This is definitely the most fun 1 min I have ever done. The same place, angle, opening and the same song. Hahahaha OMG how come time flies like this. Anyone who has their old video we can all do remake like this. So amazing and proud .

Winning the Area Speech Competition

14/11/2020

I am not a very talented speaker and to go against all the native speaking Aussies all I can do is practice and practice.

Thank you for all the students and friends who have heard me doing this again and again for the Area Toastmaster Humorous Speech Competition. And so many fashion tips from my students too.

Now I am going District!

Persistence and practice are the keys to go as high as you can be. Even if we go nowhere we are still better than we were before.

Sing in your mother tongue darling!

10/11/2020

I do have quite a few bilingual students. I believe it’s extremely important for them to be able to sing in their mother tongue despite almost all of them are born here and very Aussie. This song is quite difficult and very popular in Asia. Amy (age 12) did a very good job interpreting this. I love this song. 太陽by 邱振哲(The Sun)

So good to see kids in flesh

8/11/2020

Picture
I said to Emma “OMG I can’t believe you are taller than me now” (I am only 156 cm though...hahaha)

Another one sitting on the sofa just calmly raised her head and said “It’s such a difficult thing to be taller than Susie hey”.

Then two of them just laugh hysterically....so annoying.

So good to see these kids in the flesh.

Even though they become pain in the ass teenagers and make fun of their good old teacher for enjoyment at every chance.

You can drive now?!!!

8/11/2020

This year I had Millie, Lucie and Gretel all came in with car key suddenly. When I first knew them they were all little babies. And now they are all so grown up and can BLOODY DRIVE OMG. I hop on to Gretel’s car and did a 1 min hilarious documentary of this historical moment with extreme excitement.
