Three mornings a week, my students brave the early hours, conquering my stairs with sleepy eyes . On another side of the sunrise meet Joyce, a powerhouse Gynecologist at RPA. Today, at her 9 am lesson, she casually dropped the news - she had already delivered a beautiful baby in the hospital! Here’s to early mornings, sleepy stairs, and the incredible stories that unfold with each sunrise. #LifeOfATeacher #LifeOfAGynecologist #morningdedication  I think Maddie, the leading role of Donna in the Queenwood musical Mamma, is the perfect fit for this demanding role that requires singing, acting, and dancing.
As she uttered her first line, my heart sank because I couldn’t believe she was sick. It’s the most inconvenient time to fall ill. We have worked so hard for so long for this!!!OMG But Maddie managed her voice with such finesse, singing with poise and control. When she reached Act 2 and belted out “The Winner Takes It All,” I clapped so hard my hands almost fell off. Despite her illness, Maddie showcased remarkable strength, projecting her voice with ringing tones and portraying the character with power and conviction. The technique, control, passion, and poise are truly impressive. Seriously Darling I couldn’t be more proud. #proudteachermomentnd hooray!! We can sing something else now finally haha yeah!!!) |
