This is another podcast I have in Mandarin/Taiwanese. Weekly show talking about specific topics, news or things in Sydney. If you are in the process of learning mandarin, welcome to our show.
Even I don’t understand why this show is quite popular and very humble to know I have listeners of Taiwanese around the world.
I have all my students the frequent cute subject of my talk and I think the listeners totally love you. Hahahaha
You can find the “雪梨台灣阿姐的碎碎念“ podcast episode on, Apple podcast, iTunes, Podbean, Castbox, Overcast, and TuneIn.
I live a very bilingual life and have two total different sides of life that I separate it clearly.
To Aussie kids I teach singing and very big on technique, discipline, achieving goals and organization.
To Asian kids I teach impromptu speech and very big on bringing out strong stage presence, branding and creativities.
Aussie kids I sent them for northern beaches singing eisteddfod.
Asian kids I sent them to Ryde eisteddfod for impromptu and public speaking.
All of them achieve awesome results. (But I feel bipolar. Hahaha)
From this year if you want to I will make you good at both. No extra lesson I can do it all in your lesson time. You can learn it all.
Do it while susie is still energetic. I love to win. You know what Kids, Even if you don’t win the competition, you already half won by giving it a go.
Toastmaster public speaking club in Taiwan can be conducted in Chinese, English, Japanese, Taiwanese and Hakka. I want to show kids what I taught is useful. So I did the bilingual club yesterday and got voted as the best speaker of impromptu speech (English) .
The secret is .....Always use the technique of PREP (point-reason-example-point) or “past-present-future). Nail the structure, add the charisma it will put you at ease and you will be able to rock any impromptu speech anytime anywhere.
90 percent of the population are scared of public speaking, I want all my students to be in that 10 percent category. #toastmasterclubtaipei#bilingualrocks
