Your kids and social media

I honestly think kids and young people these days reveal way too much of themselves on social media.

Don’t forget whatever you put it out there will stay on record forever.

My students always said I am secretive because I never go to students school events, never socialize with parents and never answer any private questions. You can show fun things (yes social media is important it’s a personal branding tool) but people don’t need to know anything. Just be very good at what you do then it’s enough.

One day when you grow up you will appreciate what I say to you now.

Whatever you want to do, just do. Don’t say. And the world doesn’t need to know before you have done it.
